📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership in the design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services • Provide solutions to technical issues and ensure development schedules and technical specifications are met • Participate in and provide input into the design, redesign and development of technology products and applications • Lead software specification and design phases of the software development life cycle • Lead and manage new software development and enhancement efforts • Coordinate systems installation and software testing with other technologists • Lead root-cause analysis and recommend resolutions for software issues • Partner with the business to establish long-term strategic business and systems objectives • Address day-to-day production support fixes • Produce requirements and design documents with technical team members and subject matter experts • Document specifications and requirements for implementation and develop Business Process Procedures (BPPs) • Support functional testing to ensure business requirements are met • Act as project manager for complete project life cycles and minor enhancements • Interact with program management, team management, Digital Marketing, Business Marketing and business process teams • Review functionality and processes and recommend improvements, especially for E-commerce sales, lease and rental • Document and support disaster recovery • Participate in support packages, enhancements and system upgrades

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Logistics, Transportation or Business; relevant experience may be substituted for a degree • Master's Degree preferred; relevant experience may be substituted for a degree • 5 years or more in application development or technology management OR related experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience • Expert in MS-SQL/SSIS-SSRS • Advanced Warehouse Management Systems skills • Beginner C#/.Net/ASP skills • Beginner Web Services/API skills • Strong technical aptitude • Demonstrated skills in configuration management, data management, information management, network security, IT architecture, infrastructure design, systems integration and systems life-cycle management • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices • Travel 30-40%
