• Provide guidance over the strategy, sourcing, and execution of the trailer fleet • Support margin contribution and customer satisfaction • Lead programs driving profitability and market share • Balance customer and market requirements with Operations and Sales resources • Manage assigned profitability metrics • Represent Ryder at internal and external meetings as requested by senior management • Work with sales, marketing, and operations to grow Trailer Fleet market share • Achieve Ryder profitability goals with assigned Region staff • Communicate with leaders and facilitate resources to meet objectives • Develop, propose, and implement competitive, profitable pricing strategies and communication plans • Create and manage RFP processes for target accounts, including solution development, communication, and go-to-market strategy • Establish strategic external partnerships across the industry • Lead design activities to identify growth opportunities and define product strategies • Conduct competitive market analysis, customer research, capability and dependency analysis, and define objectives and key results • Evaluate and prioritize product experiences and identify core user stories • Establish shared understanding among stakeholders • Ensure delivery of promised services to maximize customer satisfaction • Perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to professionally represent Ryder and interact competently with customer management • Proven track record of achieving desired results and strong personal accountability • Effective verbal and written communication with customers and organizational stakeholders • Ability to influence without authority across the organization • Ability to work with reporting systems to pull data for analysis and decision-making preferred • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organization and presentation skills • Basic computer skills and proficiency in a Microsoft Office environment • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering required • 6 years or more in Product Management, Transportation Operations management, or a solution-focused role • Experience in strategic development, financial analysis, and operating metric performance management • 4 years or more of experience in logistics, operations, engineering, agile development, or solution development • Demonstrated experience in new product development preferred • Knowledge of supply chain management and transportation industries preferred • Ability to understand financial statements and operating metrics • Travel availability of 0–10%
