📋 Description

• Own Rythm’s overall financial strategy across FP&A, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, cash planning, and reporting • Lead and continue building out the Finance & Accounting team • Partner with the Co-Founders and Board on company strategy, growth plans, hiring, investments, and resource allocation • Build financial models covering growth scenarios, business direction, and investment priorities • Lead future capital raises and maintain investor relationships • Develop capital and financing strategy • Run financial planning during continued growth and investment • Give department leaders visibility into budgets, spending, goals, and financial performance • Define key financial and operating metrics and create performance reporting • Improve measurement of customer acquisition, retention, subscriptions, testing, lab operations, and other business economics • Partner with lab and operations teams on cost per test, inventory, logistics, and supply chain • Oversee accounting, audits, tax, revenue recognition, controls, compliance, and clinical-lab financial requirements • Ensure Board, investor, auditor, and internal reporting is accurate and timely • Evaluate business models, partnerships, strategic opportunities, and potential acquisitions • Strengthen purchasing, invoice approvals, cost center management, and other financial processes • Improve the finance technology stack across accounting, AP, expenses, payroll, payments, and reporting using automation and AI • Build scalable finance processes and documentation • Challenge assumptions, surface risks, and guide leadership toward better decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of strategic and sophisticated finance experience with meaningful leadership responsibility • Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed, or start-up company • Strong background across FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounting, cash management, and strategic finance • Proven ability to build and scale a finance team and the systems and processes around it • Experience partnering directly with Founders • Experience with fundraising, Board reporting, investor relations, and capital planning is strongly preferred • Healthcare, consumer health, diagnostics, DTC, subscription, or technology-enabled healthcare experience is highly relevant • Experience with businesses that include physical products, inventory, laboratory operations, or supply chain is a plus
