📋 Description

• Manage SUE projects involving Quality Levels D, C, B, and A, including records research, field designation, survey/data collection, test-hole coordination, mapping/CAD, and final deliverables • Develop project schedules, coordinate field crew makeup, and communicate daily priorities and changes to project teams • Serve as primary client contact regarding scope, schedule, access, constraints, deliverables, and project status • Coordinate with Colorado 811, utility owners, municipalities, agencies, and jurisdictions for records, access, permits, and project requirements • Track project scope, budget, labor, subcontractors, and schedule; identify and communicate changes or risks • Review field documentation, utility data, sketches, photos, mapping, and CAD deliverables for completeness and consistency • Coordinate Quality Level A test-hole activities, including permitting, traffic control, hydrovac resources, restoration, and documentation • Support QA/QC and compliance with company safety procedures and SUE operations • Collaborate with CAD/mapping staff and the responsible professional engineer when engineering review, quality-level assignment, or stamped deliverables are required • Participate in project kickoff, progress, closeout, and post-project review meetings

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SUE, utility locating/designating, utility construction, survey, civil infrastructure, or a closely related field, with demonstrated project coordination or leadership experience • Practical understanding of underground utility systems and utility investigation methods, including electromagnetic locating and GPR • Working knowledge of SUE Quality Levels D, C, B, and A and the associated project workflow • Experience coordinating field crews, clients, utility owners, and jurisdictions • Ability to read civil plans, utility plans, construction drawings, and project scope documents • Proficiency with common project documentation and Microsoft Office tools • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Colorado • No civil engineering degree is required for this position
