• Own installation, configuration, and activation of on-premises equipment within customer facilities and environments • Configure and manage out-of-band access • Troubleshoot installation and sensor performance issues • Test installations end-to-end and prepare them for production • Support the Tier 1 offshore support team responding to automated alerts involving unstable on-premise equipment • Participate in the on-call rotation for critical customer issues • Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve on-premise equipment issues remotely • Use SLAs to improve support processes and response • Strategize on process improvements and tools to reduce support volume and expedite troubleshooting • Provide customers with a high-quality experience through written and verbal communication • Create SOPs and knowledge-base articles • Cross-train team members • Maintain service uptime SLAs and interface with customers and vendors • Analyze metrics to improve service quality and maintain SLAs • Support community onboarding and ongoing customer support
• Candidates must be located in the United States • Minimum 4+ years of related work experience deploying hardware within a customer’s network and remotely managing deployment • Minimum 3+ years of related work experience as a Linux System Administrator • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Information Systems or Network Engineering, or equivalent experience • LAN and WLAN network architecture; advanced knowledge of DHCP, VLAN, static routing, and IP addressing • Hands-on experience troubleshooting WiFi performance for edge devices on a customer network • Hands-on experience integrating with customer network security and compliance technology across different platforms and vendors • Advanced Linux system management, including NVIDIA GPU, network interface configuration, and troubleshooting • Working knowledge of SSM, Docker, and Grafana; ability to assess system health and diagnose issues using reporting and common CLI • Proficiency with Linux commands and AWS SSM/SSH • Proficiency configuring servers, switches, camera devices, routers, VLANs, NAT/PAT • Strong customer communication and service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences professionally • CCNP certification in good standing (nice to have) • Ability to automate and perform QA on workflows via Ansible/Python scripts (nice to have) • Previous project management experience (nice to have)
