📋 Description

• Lead preparation, negotiation, and administration of large-scale Firm Fixed Price and defined-delivery federal government contracts • Administer complex contracts throughout acquisition, baseline management, execution, and closeout • Review, interpret, and negotiate contract terms and conditions • Identify contractual risks, develop mitigation strategies, and protect SAIC’s financial interests • Maintain contract baselines, deliverables, responsibilities, and milestones • Track and communicate contract changes, modifications, and obligations • Support audits, contract data requests, and compliance assessments • Evaluate and guide proposal activities with Program Managers, capture teams, and pricing analysts • Draft proposal-specific terms and conditions and lead creative solutions for proposal submissions • Support negotiation and finalization of contract awards • Develop negotiation strategies and resolve complex contractual issues • Negotiate with Federal clients, resolve disputes, and strengthen customer relationships • Conduct program risk assessments and provide financial insights, including margin analysis and burn-rate projections • Evaluate impacts of proposed changes and recommend revised positions • Collaborate cross-functionally to align proposal, contract, and program activities with business and financial strategies • Communicate complex legal, financial, and programmatic topics to senior leadership, program staff, legal, finance, and external customers • Share best practices and improve contract management, compliance, and proposal quality processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of federal contracts/contract management experience; Master’s degree and 13+ years of experience; or PhD/JD and 10+ years of experience • Four years of related professional experience may substitute for the degree requirement • US Citizenship is required • Extensive experience negotiating and managing FFP and FPIF contracts across high-dollar federal programs • Proficiency in FAR and federal procurement processes required • Proven ability to act as a business advisor, build stakeholder relationships, and drive impactful negotiations under tight deadlines • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to synthesize complex contractual and financial topics into clear, actionable insights • Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex contractual and financial issues while managing compliance and risk • CPCM or CFCM preferred
