📋 Description

• Support all aspects of program/project management, including planning, developing, organizing, coordinating, and conducting ATO organizational activities • Ensure FAA operational policies, processes, and program elements are integrated and documented • Perform data-driven assessments, including alternative courses of action for delayed interdependent projects and opportunities for new technology insertions • Provide technical assistance in strategic planning, research and development, operations research, systems engineering, and briefing development • Prepare and develop documents and briefings • Support decision and status reviews, briefing support, meeting scheduling/coordination, and materials preparation • Develop and track intermediate team schedules and synchronize them with the program integrated master schedule • Develop and maintain schedules and provide guidance for schedule development and control • Provide technical input for Requests for Information, Market Analysis, and screening FAA information requests • Support business case analyses, including OMB Exhibit-300 documentation • Assist in developing strategies for management development, organizational performance, and change management • Assist FAA with organization, procedures, and processes for controlling Capital Investment Plan project schedules and analyzing schedule or technical-performance uncertainties • Support cost and schedule risk assessments • May provide firsthand support for Business Process Re-engineering, including As-Is, To-Be, and Alternatives Analyses, and recommendations for improving processes and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 20 years of demonstrated experience managing a wide variety of technical and administrative projects, including experience directing technical staff, team members and contractors • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required; certification must be obtained within 6 months of award or, for new employees, from onboarding • FAA AMS expertise desired/a plus • Expertise in documentation, presentation tools, and project management tools required • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 10 years of direct and relevant experience relating to management/supervision of the design, development, test or acquisition of Air Traffic Control/Management (ATC/M) Systems • US Citizenship • Ability to obtain and maintain FAA public trust and FAA resume approval
