📋 Description

• Perform ARCHIBUS Facility Information Management System (FIMS) system administration • Ensure the system remains stable and operational, including user login and authentication • Coordinate associated server maintenance requested by NIH IT support • Ensure the FIMS database remains operational and perform system restoration steps as needed • Assess and resolve security vulnerabilities • Resolve emergency bugs at the direction of the Government • Provide end-user support and training for IWMS, FIMS, and EDMS solutions • Collaborate with multi-discipline engineers to produce reports and specification documents within schedule and budget • Manage field operations in unconditioned mechanical and electrical spaces • Review as-built documents and develop repair/replacement cost estimates • Perform site visits to understand existing conditions and update specifications, design, or construction documents • Perform facility condition assessments and capital asset management planning • Prepare detailed cost analyses and material take-offs for building types throughout the US • Coordinate and manage teams performing onsite facility condition assessments

🎯 Requirements

• Associate of Science Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CAD) or equivalent experience • 3-5 years of professional experience in facility operations and maintenance • Proficient in computer aided drafting and maintenance management system (CMMS) software • Proficient in Microsoft suite applications • Effective interpersonal skills and strong communication (written and verbal) • Confident and ambitious problem solver • Creative and innovative; self-directed initiative • Detail-oriented • Valid/unrestricted driver license • Must be a US Citizen for Security Clearance requirements • Ability to obtain clearance from the Defense Security Service and other Federal Government Agencies • Ability to work in unconditioned mechanical and electrical spaces and potentially active construction sites • Ability to climb ladders and stairs and access roofs, basements, crawl spaces, or utility tunnels when required • Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Field from an ABET accredited program • Preferred: FE Certification with the ability to obtain PE Certification within two years
