📋 Description

• Proofread and format documents according to company and client standards • Assist commissioning leads with jobsite observations and fieldwork • Maintain digital project files and documentation • Manage and update the Project Big Board tracking system • Distribute project information to internal teams, clients, and consultants • Set up and format PowerPoint presentations • Schedule meetings and prepare detailed meeting minutes • Draft field reports for jobsite observations • Create pre-functional checklists and MEP commissioning and functional performance test procedures • Provide technical support on building systems issues • Assist with equipment and systems condition assessments • Prepare basic engineering calculations • Develop commissioning plans, specifications, and Owner’s Project Requirements documents • Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and associated control systems • Perform supervised functional testing and verification of equipment and systems in the field • Support the commissioning team with other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required • Understanding and ability to communicate with internal commissioning team members • Willingness to learn and contribute • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Teams • Excellent organization and communication skills • Ability to read and clearly speak English • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions • Ability to write legibly for logs and documentation • Ability to work independently and with initiative, as well as within team settings • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment • Ability to prioritize tasks amid shifting projects and deadlines • Confident and positive attitude with colleagues and clients • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30–40%, with the posting also stating travel up to 45% • Ability to support HVAC, plumbing, control systems, commissioning documentation, testing, and basic engineering calculations
