📋 Description

• Develop and deliver electrical designs for large-scale data centers from early design through construction support • Develop electrical system designs including MV/LV distribution, UPS, standby generators, grounding, lighting, and monitoring systems • Perform load flow, short circuit, and arc flash studies using SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower • Review drawings, calculations, and vendor documentation for accuracy and compliance • Support BIM/VDC teams in modeling and coordinating electrical systems • Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and client-specific standards • Assist with QA/QC reviews and internal design checks • Provide construction-phase support by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and supporting field activities • Participate in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams • Take ownership of assigned deliverables, provide multidisciplinary technical input, and support junior staff when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution • 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in utility, industrial, or mission-critical facilities • Strong background in data centers, BESS, substations, or power plants • Hands-on expertise in MV/LV power distribution, emergency/backup power, protective relaying, and redundancy strategies • Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, or similar tools for system analysis • Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and utility interconnection requirements • Professional Engineer (PE) license required • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in collaborative and remote environments • Authorized to work in the United States • AutoCAD and Revit familiarity preferred • Additional certifications such as LEED AP or PMP are a plus
