📋 Description

• Develop and deliver electrical designs for large-scale data centers from early design through construction support • Develop MV/LV distribution, UPS, standby generator, grounding, lighting, and monitoring system designs • Perform load flow, short circuit, and arc flash studies using SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower • Review drawings, calculations, and vendor documentation for accuracy and compliance • Support BIM/VDC teams with electrical system modeling and coordination • Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and client-specific standards • Assist with QA/QC reviews and internal design checks • Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and support field activities during construction • Participate in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams • Take ownership of assigned deliverables, provide technical input during multidisciplinary coordination, and support junior staff when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution • 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, with a strong background in utility, industrial, or mission-critical facilities, including data centers, BESS, substations, or power plants • Hands-on expertise in MV/LV power distribution, emergency/backup power, protective relaying, and redundancy strategies • Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, or similar tools for system analysis • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit preferred • Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and utility interconnection requirements • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; multi-state licensure is a plus • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in collaborative and remote environments • Authorized to work in the United States
