📋 Description

• Lead and govern the design of complex, multi-phased MuleSoft integration projects • Ensure adherence to API-led connectivity and integration patterns • Identify opportunities and efficiencies in customers’ IT operating models • Support implementation of SDLC pipelines to increase value from the MuleSoft platform • Define and scale enterprise integration best practices, reference architectures, foundational assets, and API patterns • Establish and enforce DevOps models, CI/CD pipelines, and operational standards • Manage monitoring, alerting, and full API lifecycle management • Scale global best practices through reusable assets, reference architectures, and implementations • Enable field teams and partners to improve delivery and customer success • Lead requirements workshops and deliver architectural blueprint documents • Identify product gaps and provide insights to leadership • Advise client executives and internal sales and delivery teams throughout pre-sales and project delivery • Mentor and coach junior architects, engineers, and consultants • Drive decisions for complex technical challenges while balancing scope, time-to-market, and technical debt • Engage with MuleSoft Product Management and Engineering to influence the platform roadmap

🎯 Requirements

• Active Secret level security clearance • 10+ years of IT experience • 5+ years leading complex integration and solution architecture initiatives • 2+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience or similar experience • Proficiency in API-led connectivity and integration patterns • Expertise in High Availability (HA), scalability, SDLC, and full API lifecycle management • Experience architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions • Experience defining full API lifecycle management from design and development through deployment, operations, and governance • Exceptional customer-facing communication and expectation management skills • Experience managing and architecting multiple technical integration projects using SDLC end-to-end • Experience architecting service integrations with MuleSoft and other integration solutions • Understanding of API security principles, including authentication, authorization, and security policies • Expertise in microservices and related architecture patterns • Deep experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Management, Exchange, and Flex Gateway • Experience driving technical workshops with technical and business clients • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, FISMA, HIPAA, and SOX • Multi-cloud proficiency with AWS, Azure, and GCP • DevOps experience with Git, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD • Working knowledge of on-premise, cloud, and containerized infrastructures • Extensive experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, VPN, DNS, SSL/TLS, and load balancing products • Proficiency in at least two of Bash, Go, Python, Ruby, Node.js, Rust, and Java • Working knowledge of at least one RDBMS, NoSQL database, distributed key-value store, and time-series database
