📋 Description

• Own the technical sale alongside account executives from first discovery call through technical close and handoff to delivery • Advise commercial and government customers on new business, expansion, and upsell • Handle technical objections involving architecture fit, data residency, terms of service limits, integration effort, and total cost at volume • Lead technical execution in Google Cloud and Google Maps Platform co-sell motions, including customer calls, solution workshops, and partner-led demos • Position Sanborn's services, intellectual property, and managed offerings alongside Google technologies • Maintain knowledge of Google partner programs, solution playbooks, pricing models, and incentive structures • Design solutions using Google Maps Platform APIs for mapping, places, routing, geocoding, and BigQuery-native insights products • Design supporting Google Cloud architectures emphasizing BigQuery, data pipelines, and Gemini or Vertex AI • Model consumption and unit economics for scalable, deliverable, margin-positive architectures • Build and deliver working demonstrations and proofs of concept using customer data • Create and maintain reusable demonstration and reference-architecture libraries • Author technical content for proposals, statements of work, RFPs, RFIs, and sources-sought notices • Supply technical assumptions and usage drivers for pricing • Partner with delivery teams to confirm feasibility and risk before commitments

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on, customer-facing experience with Google Cloud Platform • Working familiarity with Google Maps Platform APIs or a comparable location and mapping platform • Demonstrable record of building and delivering working demonstrations or proofs of concept • Working SQL • Comfort in BigQuery or an equivalent cloud data warehouse • Enough scripting in Python or JavaScript to stand up a prototype • Record of influencing or closing technical deals alongside sellers • Ability to translate architecture into revenue, cost, and risk language • Google Cloud certification at Associate or Professional level, or Generative AI Leader credential preferred • Gemini or Vertex AI applied in a customer-facing setting preferred • Geospatial background preferred, including GIS, Esri, imagery, LiDAR, remote sensing, surveying, or location data products • Experience inside a partner, reseller, distributor, or channel model preferred • Consumption or usage-based pricing and usage forecasting experience preferred • Experience selling to state, local, or federal government preferred • Experience supporting ISVs, SaaS providers, or enterprise platform customers preferred • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience • Minimum of seven years in customer-facing technical roles • Applicant must live in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.
