📋 Description

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and/or electrical aspects of rotary and surface drill mining equipment and components at mining sites • Commission new equipment and provide training at customer sites with minimal supervision • Inspect equipment for proper performance and determine faults and malfunctions • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance • Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives • Stay current with industry, customer, product developments, and technical best practices • Build relationships with internal and external customers to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction • Maintain compliance with Sandvik, customer, state, and federal safety policies • Ensure customer satisfaction within the primary area of responsibility • Cover the Colorado market, with occasional travel via truck or air

🎯 Requirements

• Strong mechanical or electrical background and diagnostic skills • Technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical fields or equivalent years of professional field/technical experience • Minimum of 5 years industry related experience • Mining equipment experience • Diesel and electrical experience • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems • Must conform to ISO standards • Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work alone and stop work if required • Ability to read blueprints and interpret equipment schematics • Success in team environments and excellent communication skills • Legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship • Comfortable working underground and on the surface • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
