📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted scientific partner to external experts through timely scientific exchanges • Execute stakeholder engagement plans and gather, develop, and share medical insights • Monitor medical and scientific developments and support evidence-generation plans • Identify unmet needs among patients, consumers, regulators, payers, and healthcare providers • Maintain compliant communication among Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and Commercial Operations • Engage external stakeholders in medical and scientific information exchange through individual and group interactions • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders • Share approved medical and scientific information and answer stakeholder questions within regulatory guidelines • Monitor healthcare policies and guidelines affecting clinical practice • Map, identify, profile, and prioritize stakeholders using defined systems • Plan territory and individual stakeholder medical strategies and engagement plans • Attend scientific congresses and symposia to establish Sanofi Medical presence • Organize educational meetings and local scientific advisory boards when requested • Support speaker training and respond to unsolicited medical-information requests • Gather, record, report, and evaluate stakeholder insights and published-study information • Distribute scientific information and external insights to internal stakeholders • Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Business Development, Regulatory, and other functions on diligence, safety, positioning, evidence planning, and compliance • Support protocol development, epidemiology, surveillance, compliance, pharmacovigilance, and effectiveness studies • Identify data-collection opportunities and potential clinical trial sites • Support investigator-sponsored study submissions • Manage a base of 50 stakeholders and maintain the engagement-tracking database • Cover Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Southern California • Plan daily stakeholder interactions and execute territory engagement plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in a technical, scientific, or medical field (MD, PhD, PharmD) preferred, or relevant life science degree (RN/MS) with Rhinology and/or Gastroenterology specialty required • Must reside in the territory • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Ability to pass a complete background check • Ability to safely drive a company car and comply with company policies and traffic laws • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Medical Science Liaison role, or relevant clinical practice preferred • Relevant Immunology clinical experience in a Gastroenterology clinical environment may be considered • Clear understanding of medical practice, clinical decision-making, and healthcare systems related to patient care • Ability to interpret scientific data and translate it to educational and research needs • Experience delivering scientific/evidence-based data to address educational and research needs • Understanding of research study design and execution • Exemplary communication and presentation skills • Experience working on multidisciplinary teams and managing significant project volume • Knowledge of local pharmaceutical-industry regulations and codes of practice, especially non-promotional activities • Scientific expertise and ability to articulate therapeutic knowledge and translate expert feedback into insights • Knowledge of healthcare systems, medical landscape, regulatory and payer environments, public health, and industry trends • Proficiency in digital tools
