📋 Description

• Develop and lead an enterprise and/or portfolio-level Health Information Technology strategy, roadmap, and annual execution plan • Establish a vision for leveraging HIT, EHRs, digital health, data, AI, and emerging technologies to support health systems and improve patient care • Identify health-system trends, technology capabilities, customer needs, and market dynamics • Serve as subject-matter expert and strategic advisor on HIT, EHR capabilities, digital health, AI, and emerging technology • Build alignment among senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders • Partner with health-system and integrated account teams to identify customer challenges and technology-enabled solutions • Translate customer needs into HIT opportunities across the patient journey • Support strategic engagement with clinical, population-health, informatics, pharmacy, quality, CIO, CMIO, and technology stakeholders • Lead strategy and development of EHR-enabled and digital resources • Evaluate clinical decision support, patient identification, care-gap identification, workflows, referral pathways, order sets, outreach, dashboards, reporting, and population-health tools • Ensure solutions address interoperability, workflow integration, scalability, usability, compliance, and measurable impact • Establish a test-learn-scale approach for innovative health technology and digital-health solutions • Evaluate AI, automation, advanced analytics, digital health platforms, interoperability capabilities, and novel data solutions • Lead pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives with health systems, internal teams, and external technology partners • Translate successful pilots into repeatable and scalable organizational capabilities • Maintain regulatory, legal, privacy, security, and compliance standards • Develop resources, tools, engagement models, guidance, training, and capability development for customer-facing teams • Participate in strategic account planning and customer preparation • Lead cross-functional teams from opportunity identification through solution development, approval, activation, implementation, and measurement • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business and clinical strategies • Identify and manage strategic partnerships with HIT vendors, EHR ecosystem partners, digital-health companies, agencies, and external organizations • Lead vendor strategy, contracting collaboration, performance management, and budget management • Establish KPIs and success measures, monitor performance, report to senior leadership, and incorporate lessons learned into future strategy • Identify opportunities to scale successful approaches across accounts, therapeutic areas, brands, and portfolios

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, technology, pharmacy, informatics, life sciences, or related field • 12+ years of progressive experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical/biotechnology, health information technology, digital health, health-system strategy, marketing, medical affairs, market access, or related functions • Demonstrated experience working with health systems, integrated delivery networks, or other complex healthcare organizations • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, including providers, payers, health systems, population health, and EHR technology • Experience developing and executing strategies from concept through implementation and measurement • Ability to work effectively across complex, highly matrixed organizations and influence stakeholders without direct authority • Strong strategic thinking, communication, presentation, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills • Ability to translate complex clinical, technical, and business concepts into clear and actionable strategies • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead initiatives in environments with significant ambiguity • Preferred: Advanced degree such as MBA, PharmD, MPH, MS in Health Informatics, or related discipline • Preferred: Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience • Preferred: Experience with HIT, EHR, clinical informatics, digital health, population health, or healthcare technology • Preferred: Working knowledge of major EHR platforms, including Epic and Oracle Health/Cerner • Preferred: Experience developing or implementing EHR-enabled solutions within health systems • Preferred: Experience working with integrated account teams, key account management, health-system strategy, or population-health organizations • Preferred: Experience with artificial intelligence, analytics, interoperability, digital health, or emerging healthcare technologies • Preferred: Experience managing technology vendors and external strategic partnerships • Preferred: People leadership and/or significant cross-functional team leadership experience
