• Compilation of technical inputs (i.e., calculations, computational models, etc.) to produce multi-faceted environmental and radiological performance assessments (PAs) and safety case assessments. • Interfacing with facility engineering and operations, regulatory stakeholders, and Department of Energy (DOE) customers. • Contributing to the fulfillment of project and organizational objectives as a team member dedicated to demonstrating long-term compliance of radioactive waste disposal actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Computer Science or other related science degree from an accredited university or college • Master’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Computer Science or other related science degree from an accredited university or college (Preferred) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Background with the Department of Energy defense programs and chemical processes. • Familiarity in flow and contaminant transport modeling calculations.
