📋 Description

• Prepare attorneys’ bills from printing proformas/prebills through final delivery by email or e-bill • Edit and format bills, research issues, and obtain necessary approvals • Assist lawyers and secretaries with client analysis and time and billing reports • Collaborate with Billing, Pricing, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Conflicts teams • Maintain discounts and rates, provide historical billing information, manage escrow fund transfers, update temporary-file status, and change billing addresses • Navigate vendors’ websites for invoice submission, accounts receivable review, and rate processing • Provide time and billing application support to firm-wide users

🎯 Requirements

• At least two years of high-volume time and billing experience in a professional services environment • College Degree preferred • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • Solid basic math skills • Demonstrated technology skills including software applications • Ability to exercise independent judgment, reason logically, and make sound decisions • Ability to multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy • Previous experience working in a law firm or legal environment preferred • Regular and predictable attendance • Ability to work beyond standard scheduled hours as needed
