📋 Description

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on CMMC compliance and cybersecurity services. • Identify, prospect, and close new business within the DIB. • Serve as a trusted advisor on CMMC requirements, assessment readiness, and DoD security expectations. • Lead discovery conversations, build solution proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract. • Collaborate closely with internal cybersecurity, compliance, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless customer transitions. • Maintain accurate pipeline updates and forecasting in CRM systems. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars. • Stay current on CMMC regulations, DFARS requirements, and DoD cybersecurity initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, technology, or managed services. • 5+ years of business development within the DIB and/or an expansive network of defense contractors. • Demonstrated ability to win new business and drive revenue growth. • Strong consultative sales skills and ability to understand customer needs and present relevant solutions. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. • Understanding of CMMC, NIST 800‑171, DFARS, or similar frameworks. • Proficiency with CRM software (such as Dynamics, Hubspot) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Proficiency with lead generation tools such as Zoominfo. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
