📋 Description

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and semiannual volumes of collected legal opinions for a government agency • Copyedit and proofread Federal Government regulatory agency legal documents • Apply Federal Government regulatory agency legal citations, including citations to sources, using The Bluebook system • Index Federal Government regulatory agency legal documents • Format and typeset documents using PCTeX or equivalent software • Ensure familiarity with and consideration of Section 508 compliance requirements • Work under strict production schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience copyediting and proofreading Federal Government regulatory agency legal documents • Extensive experience with Federal Government regulatory agency legal citations, including citations to sources • Expert knowledge of The Bluebook system of legal citation • Extensive experience indexing Federal Government regulatory agency legal documents • Demonstrated experience using PCTeX or equivalent software • Familiarity with requirements for Section 508 compliance • Strong background in legal editing and indexing, document formatting, and typesetting • Candidates are required to pass a background screening prior to employment • Unless otherwise prohibited by state law, employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to employment start date, subject to reasonable accommodation
