📋 Description

• Own and optimize the company's data architecture and ETL/ELT pipelines, including scheduling, orchestration, and monitoring • Maintain, optimize, and expand hosting infrastructure and scripts as data volume and use cases grow • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across source systems • Maintain API integrations and data connectors for Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Meta, Google Ads, Klaviyo, and other platforms • Scope and build new data integrations as the business adds tools, channels, and brands • Support the inventory team as the go-to technical partner for Odoo initiatives • Plan and execute Odoo upgrades with minimal disruption to inventory operations • Design, build, and maintain integrations and ETL processes between Odoo and internal and external systems • Oversee data governance, access controls, and security practices • Document configurations, integrations, and data flows • Partner with analytics and marketing teams to define and standardize business-critical KPIs • Implement AI/ML solutions for data enrichment, anomaly detection, forecasting, and process automation • Review data workflows and performance and identify efficiency improvements • Own and set up the MCP connection to the data warehouse for LLM-based data access • Report directly to Uday Dorawala, Engineering Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Strong SQL and Python skills, with hands-on experience building and maintaining production data pipelines • Experience with Airflow and dbt • Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar • Hands-on experience with Odoo, including its data model, integrations, and version upgrades • Experience with Shopify data and APIs • Experience integrating ecommerce and marketing platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Meta, Google Ads, or Klaviyo • Comfort managing cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP • Understanding of data governance, security, and access-control practices • Clear documentation habits and ability to explain data systems to non-technical teammates • 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related role • Legally authorized to work in the US for any employer • Comfortable working west coast (PST) hours until 4:30pm PST • Preferred but not required: experience in DTC, consumer subscription, supplements, or wellness; custom Odoo modules in Python; AI/ML for forecasting, anomaly detection, or data enrichment; inventory, supply chain, or demand-planning data
