📋 Description

• Create and plan category leadership solutions that deliver profitable sales growth for H-E-B • Develop solutions covering shopper and category insights, products/assortment, placement, shelving, merchandising, pricing, promotions and seasonal merchandising • Leverage Circana Scan Data, Nielsen Data, customer point-of-sale, One Pulse and other internal/external tools • Synthesize category and shopper insights into clear, persuasive stories and actionable customer recommendations • Manage and deliver Category Captaincy/Advisory process responsibilities where appropriate • Identify opportunities, assist with research and lead projects delivering category leadership solutions • Influence Annual Account Business Planning by partnering with the sales team • Identify shopper and consumer research opportunities • Execute agreed category leadership solutions with success measures and detailed follow-through • Monitor and evaluate customer category leadership solutions, recommend actions and continually improve effectiveness • Leverage data sources, market research, tools, analyses and technology to bring new shopper ideas to the customer • Serve as a strategic, customer-facing category partner to H-E-B • Collaborate with H-E-B partners and SC Johnson Sales, Brand and Customer Marketing teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant business experience OR advanced degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant business experience • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship • Experience in Category Management • 1 year of business analytics experience • Experience working with syndicated data software Nielsen and JDA • Advanced analytics around promotional/non-promotional and pricing strategy • Mobility preferred for career growth • Background in consumer-packaged goods and/or retail • Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and PowerPoint • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to build an impactful story/narrative out of large amounts of data • Proactive and committed to delivering results in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
