📋 Description

• Review accommodation requests for LSAT candidates with claimed physical or mental impairments • Make recommendations and decisions regarding testing accommodations • Email external professional consultants • Enter accommodation-request data into electronic databases • Coordinate, schedule, and administer examinations for students with approved accommodations • Implement accommodations including extended time, reduced-distraction environments, assistive technology, readers, and scribes • Communicate and collaborate with students, faculty, disability services personnel, and campus stakeholders • Receive, secure, administer, and return examination materials according to testing protocols • Maintain examination and student-record confidentiality, security, and integrity • Monitor testing sessions for compliance with approved accommodations and institutional policies • Maintain testing schedules, documentation, records, and reports • Troubleshoot testing issues and coordinate resolutions • Maintain accessible testing facilities, equipment, and assistive technology • Support compliance with disability laws and accessibility policies • Provide responsive, student-centered service promoting equitable access to academic assessments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or another closely related field • Minimum of five years of clinical, teaching, or research experience in diagnosing and treating disabilities and determining appropriate testing accommodations • Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as amended • Familiarity with professionally recognized diagnostic criteria • Ability to follow internal criteria and standards for reviewing testing accommodation requests and communicating decisions • Knowledge of disability documentation requirements and testing accommodations • Knowledge of test instruments measuring functional limitations through graduate-level coursework and relevant job experience • Knowledge of how disabilities affect functioning in school, work, testing, and home environments • Sensitivity when handling personal and confidential information • Ability to work efficiently and perform simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment and exercise discretion • Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude • Service-oriented and approachable • Commitment to diversity and company values • Flexibility and ability to accept change • Prior experience with testing accommodations preferred • Ability to meet the stated physical and mental requirements
