📋 Description

• Analyze and process complex bodily injury auto and commercial transportation claims • Review coverage and complete claim investigations • Determine liability and evaluate the scope of damages • Process complex commercial and personal line auto claims and properly document and code claim files • Manage the litigation process on litigated claims • Coordinate vendor management and use independent adjusters to assist claim investigations • Report large claims to excess carriers • Develop and maintain action plans to meet state-required contact deadlines and move files toward prompt resolution • Identify and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities • Secure and dispose of salvage • Communicate claim actions and processing with insureds, clients, agents, and brokers when appropriate • Support the organization's quality programs • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Five (5) years of claims management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial line auto policies, coverages, principles, and laws • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Ability to work in a team environment • Secure and maintain required state adjusting licenses • Computer keyboarding ability • Hearing, vision, and talking ability • Clear and conceptual thinking ability • Excellent judgment and discretion • Ability to meet deadlines • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred • Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
