• Drive vendor selection strategy, contract management, supplier collaboration, and risk mitigation • Write, launch, manage, and close RFPs for new suppliers or services • Review and consolidate existing suppliers within an assigned commodity • Deactivate unused suppliers and remove redundancies • Upload supplier contracts to the database and capture key terms for reporting • Lead, negotiate, and contract new and renewal supplier agreements • Track contract negotiations and save generated contracts in the assigned database • Serve as an internal and external escalation point for supplier questions and issues • Measure supplier and vendor performance against cost savings and cost avoidance targets • Monitor, track, and respond to market forecasts and changing conditions • Conduct category spend analyses, reporting, supplier stratification, supply market research, and category industry research • Build and manage relationships with priority business executives • Support business strategy implementation through procurement initiatives and team alignment • Facilitate sourcing processes and collaborate with clients to select and award business to suppliers • Stay current on industry news, market trends, and regulatory changes affecting commodity prices • Perform other assigned duties • Support organizational quality programs • Travel as required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance from an accredited college or university preferred • Related certifications such as IIBA, CPM, CIPS, or CPSM preferred • Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Experience with P2P platforms and Power BI preferred • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to present complex topics concisely to audiences at various levels • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills • Strong analytical, interpretive, and data storytelling skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent negotiating skills • Ability to create comprehensive, accurate, and constructive written reports • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies • Self-confidence and ability to accept and respond to challenges positively • Ability to travel as required
