• Manage the physical therapist team to ensure cohesive delivery of clinical recommendations and integration of new clinical insights and literature • Analyze clinical referrals for overutilization, underdosing, and lack of clinical improvement • Develop clinically supported treatment recommendations for treating physical therapists and physicians to support patient recovery and discharge • Communicate with claims and clinical teams to improve claim outcomes • Manage workload distribution among team members • Oversee team documentation and ensure accurate, comprehensive documentation of clinical recommendations and claims management • Maintain current systems, reporting, and documentation to keep the program strategic • Foster a collaborative learning environment • Support team members in developing goals and meeting quality metrics and billing expectations • Assess team member performance and provide guidance and support • Provide leadership, motivation, and personnel-policy administration • Interview, hire, and establish colleague performance development plans • Conduct colleague performance discussions
• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program required • Current professional licensure as a Physical Therapist required • Eight (8) years of related experience required • At least one (1) year supporting and servicing workers' compensation claims, including claims management and stakeholder coordination • Equivalent combination of education and experience required • Computer keyboarding • Travel as required • Clear and conceptual thinking ability • Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion • Ability to handle work-related stress • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously • Ability to meet deadlines
