📋 Description

• Key pre-coded billing data into the system • Identify and forward complex bills to claims examiners • Code provider bills according to claims management system notes and state guidelines • Follow workers compensation/auto guidelines to evaluate services • Compare service provider qualifications with services provided • Participate in system and file maintenance and interface with the IT department • Assist with account batching and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail • Answer customer service calls from providers, clients, and claims examiners • Verify billing output

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required • One (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred • Accurate keyboarding and data entry • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment • Clear and conceptual thinking ability • Excellent judgement and discretion • Ability to meet deadlines • Hearing, vision, and talking abilities
