• Set up and assign new claims, tasks, and requests in the claims management system • Enter and review claims data for accuracy and completeness • Review claims notes and documentation to determine assignment, urgency, and next steps • Make outbound calls to carriers, adjusters, and internal partners to obtain information, approvals, or clarification • Refer claims within the organization based on established assignment processes and resource guidelines • Assign claims using workload distribution, service expectations, and priority levels • Support hotel and housing coordinators during claim setup and assignment • Use multiple platforms to review, route, and adjust claim assignments • Contact adjusters by phone or text to discuss claim details • Ensure required temporary housing claim information is available, including loss location, FNOL, scheduled dates, and urgency indicators • Work with management on assignment processes and resource utilization • Monitor open items and follow up on outstanding tasks • Escalate urgent issues, delays, or discrepancies to leadership • Perform other assigned duties and support organizational quality programs
• High school diploma or GED required • Two years of clerical, administrative, dispatch, or property claims management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Experience in a fast-paced environment involving task routing, workflow coordination, or claim support preferred • Fluent Spanish is a plus • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products • Analytical and interpretative skills • Strong organizational and prioritization skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to review documentation thoroughly and accurately • Ability to work in a team environment while managing individual accountability • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused during challenging interactions, competing priorities, or workplace conflict • Resilience and emotional composure when receiving feedback, addressing concerns, or working under pressure • Ability to communicate respectfully and assertively while maintaining appropriate boundaries • Ability to handle repetitive, high-volume work with consistency and attention to detail • Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies
