📋 Description

• Work face to face with injured workers and medical providers • Facilitate advocacy, progressive medical treatment, and timely return-to-work • Act as a liaison and provide communication between all involved parties • Manage complex medical conditions, treatment planning, and recovery from illness or injury • Serve as patient advocate for injured workers, families, and caregivers • Support, guide, and coordinate care throughout the recovery process • Assist injured workers in achieving recovery and autonomy through advocacy, communication, education, service-resource identification, and service facilitation • Identify appropriate providers and facilities across the continuum of services • Ensure resources are used in a timely and cost-effective manner to obtain optimum value for the client and reimbursement source • Travel frequently while maintaining a home-based office

🎯 Requirements

• RN licensure required • Valid driver’s license required • High-speed internet required • Must live in the Northern Virginia region covering Fairfax/Chantilly, Washington, DC and surrounding areas • Successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check may be required where job-related • Medical/clinical or rehabilitation knowledge and experience • Ability to advocate for injured workers and coordinate care • Clear and conceptual thinking ability • Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion • Ability to handle work-related stress • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously • Ability to meet deadlines • Computer keyboarding ability • Ability to travel as required
