📋 Description

• Shape the technical direction and architecture of Seeq's software platform • Lead the design and development of complex software systems • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers • Mentor and coach junior engineers on best practices • Drive innovation and spearhead implementation of new technologies and frameworks • Build and debug reliable, maintainable, and extensible applications from browser to database • Design and develop backend systems for data-intensive applications • Review code and provide actionable feedback • Collaborate through pair programming and contribute to team acceleration • Engage with customers to understand feature rationale and user pain points • Plan, prioritize, and provide accurate estimates to meet deadlines • Identify and eliminate technical debt through refactoring • Maintain open communication about growth opportunities with managers and colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field • Substantial professional experience in software development, with a solid record of designing, building and evolving complex software systems over a period of years • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices • Expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Rust, C++, etc • Expertise in backend development for data-intensive applications • Experience working with databases such as Postgres or MySQL • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban • Must be authorized to work in the country in which you reside • Seeq does not sponsor US F1 or H-1B work visas
