📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end features across React frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and data layers • Work with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to understand user needs and make sound technical decisions • Own features from browser to database across frontend, backend, databases, and distributed systems • Build intuitive frontend experiences and reliable backend functionality • Mentor and guide engineers through code review, pairing, and technical leadership • Introduce and help adopt fresh technologies and approaches, including effective use of AI in software development • Identify areas for improvement and deliver consistently in a continuous delivery model • Advocate for testing, continuous integration, clean solutions, and technical-debt reduction • Engage with customers and communicate feature rationale and user pain points • Drive cross-boundary improvements for the product and its users

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field • 6+ years of professional software development experience for Staff, or 10+ years for Principal • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices • Expertise in one or more backend JVM languages, such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala • Experience with databases such as Postgres • Expertise in large frontend applications with React or TypeScript preferred • Ability to work across frontend and backend codebases and own features end-to-end • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail • Proven leadership skills and ability to guide and mentor junior engineers • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum or Kanban • Must be authorized to work in the country in which you reside • Seeq does not sponsor US F1 or H-1B work visas
