📋 Description

• Work as part of the Case Management Department team to service SelectQuote Life’s clients • Maximize the number of policies completing underwriting and getting placed with carrier partners • Fill in for other Case Specialists during PTO/LOA • Manage a consistently high volume of outbound and inbound calls per day • Use email and text regularly to maximize client contact • Retrieve outstanding underwriting and delivery requirements from customers • Answer customer service questions during phone calls • Work with carriers as needed • Handle customer objections or complaints • Educate consumers on the underwriting process and required documents • Discuss carrier guidelines, delivery deadlines, and sensitive medical, financial, and lifestyle information • Meet and exceed production and performance goals • Identify the appropriate course of action for cases • Develop comprehensive knowledge of the term life insurance application process • Participate in ongoing training and team training • Give and receive constructive criticism • No direct supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• College degree preferred • Experience with sales and/or customer service • Willingness to learn, grow and improve over time • Ability to multi-task coupled with excellent time management skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Sales acumen • Competitive nature • Excellent phone manner and professional etiquette are a must • Strong work ethic • Customer service oriented • Detail oriented, action focused • Demonstrate initiative, discretion and integrity • Strong computer familiarity is a must • At this time SelectQuote does not hire applicants who solely possess temporary work visas requiring employer sponsorship, including OPT, H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, F-1, J-1, E-3, etc. • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites
