📋 Description
• Support clinical authorization processes • Coordinate linkage between members, primary care providers, specialty providers, and insurance companies • Support the referral process from providers • Process pre-authorization approvals for medications and other services ordered or requested by providers • Perform data entry • Make and receive provider calls for pre-authorization • Draft correspondence • Schedule appointments • Organize and maintain records and files • Provide assistance to members
🎯 Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent required • Experience working in Healthcare required • Previous pre-authorization and health plan experience preferred • Call center experience preferred • No certification or licensure required • Ability to work 8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend shifts every other week • Ability to perform data entry and make and receive provider calls for pre-authorization
