📋 Description

• Establish relationships with undergraduates to advise, support, and motivate them toward career goals • Conduct practice interviews and provide feedback for Software Engineering, Data Science, Quantitative Analytics, Quantitative Trading, and related internship opportunities • Support interns completing pre-internship coursework and activities • Coach and mentor interns throughout internships and through the post-internship offer process • Conduct practice interviews with graduating seniors and recent alumni through the SEO Hire interview process • Document participant interactions regularly and promptly in SEO systems • Contribute content to SEO training curriculum, including webinars, panel discussions, technical workshops, and identifying relevant content or speakers • Attend scheduled specialist meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree • At least two (2) years of work experience in a related role, specifically within the financial services industry • Experience conducting or leading technical interviews for software engineering, data, quantitative, or trading roles • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, C/C++, JavaScript, and SQL • Hands-on experience with data structures and algorithms • Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming and scripting • Hands-on experience with debugging, testing, and version control (Git/GitHub) • Familiarity with online assessments such as HackerRank, CodeSignal, and LeetCode-style problems • Familiarity with brain teasers, logic problems, and quantitative reasoning • Familiarity with behavioral and technical case-style interviews • Availability to work evenings and/or weekends • Professionalism and ability to follow through on scheduled meetings and events • Demonstrated understanding of employment and market outlook and factors affecting selection and success • Comfortable teaching and reinforcing core technical concepts • Working knowledge of barriers to entry and opportunity for early career professionals in corporate America • Ability to communicate professionally, meaningfully, and supportively with college students and SEO colleagues
