• Partner with a Clinical Diabetes Specialist to launch Sequel’s innovative insulin pump and future products • Promote adoption of Sequel products and services within the assigned territory • Formulate territory strategies and initiatives to meet or exceed territory goals • Build customer relationships and influence healthcare providers to prescribe Sequel products • Drive product adoption and facilitate successful product experiences for healthcare providers and users • Discuss and demonstrate Sequel products and diabetes therapeutic options • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to optimize the user experience • Communicate healthcare provider feedback cross-functionally to solve problems and improve product development • Represent Sequel products at conventions and educational forums • Manage leads and opportunities in the customer relations database daily • Submit product training documentation as required • Maintain relationships with patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations • Senior TBL: assist with field sales training • Senior TBL: mentor junior staff • Senior TBL: participate on internal advisory boards with cross-functional departments • Senior TBL: lead weekly team calls and regional or area calls/meetings as needed
• Bachelor’s degree preferred • 2+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of sales success • Valid driver’s license • For the Senior TBL role: 4+ years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industries with a demonstrated history of sales success • Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices preferred • Demonstrated relationships with Endocrinologists strongly preferred • Experience promoting diabetes devices and knowledge of diabetes therapeutics preferred • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and promote team collaboration • Strong data analysis, evaluation and problem-solving skills • Ability to execute sales and marketing plan and manage territory budget • Candidate must live within the assigned geography • Ability to commute and spend extended periods of time driving each day, which may include overnight travel; most territory travel will be by car • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature • Senior TBL: demonstrated history of multiple years of meeting or exceeding sales goals • Senior TBL: recognition for outstanding contribution in sales, such as President’s Club, Rookie of the Year, or Circle of Excellence • Senior TBL: developmental and leadership experience such as field sales trainer, mentoring new hires, or field advisory board/marketing input committee participation • Senior TBL: experience representing an organization at industry conferences/conventions, such as ADA or ADCES • Senior TBL: demonstrated career progression/promotions into roles with increased responsibility
