📋 Description

• Review and refigure flooring estimation measurements for accuracy • Report to the Production Manager and Review/Refigure Supervisor • Perform calculations using computer systems and software • Proofread work and prepare documents as needed • Communicate effectively orally and in writing • Work Saturday and Sunday on a regular rotating schedule • Work remotely from home in a generally quiet, indoor office environment

🎯 Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English • Technologically savvy; able to use a computer and calculation software • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, algebraic and geometric calculations • Reliable internet connectivity for working from home • Ability to focus on job tasks undisturbed • Minimum 6 months of flooring, estimation, or construction experience • Minimum 6 months reviewing measurements and contracts, preferably within millwork, construction, or flooring • High school diploma or GED, and one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience involving customer service management • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos • Ability to write letters and prepare documents; proofreads work • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions • Knowledge of computer workstations and peripheral equipment • Knowledge of database, spreadsheet, email, and word processing software • Experience or knowledge with Floor Wizard, RFMS, PDF editing software, and Microsoft Office • Availability to work a rotating schedule across 7 days • Regular Saturday and Sunday availability; weekend work required • Ability to view documents, multiple screens, and handwritten documents • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage within time constraints • Working knowledge of building codes, materials, industry, and products • Ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements • Knowledge of window and door installation • General construction knowledge preferred • Ability to lift and carry 10 lbs.
