• Provide guidance and support on Sharp HealthCare's Identity and Access Management and Epic Security strategy • Maintain IAM and Epic Security systems and ensure authorized individuals have appropriate access to systems and data • Respond to IAM and Epic Security incidents, service requests, application access requests, and audits • Coordinate activities with IT teams and Sharp departments to develop, maintain, support, and enhance Epic access and security • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits and resolve identified issues • Report KPIs related to IAM, Epic Security, SER, incident/service request management, and compliance • Manage on-call rotations and participate in on-call support • Train new IT staff and mentor department staff • Develop and maintain SOPs and system documentation • Monitor and analyze IAM and Epic system performance and recommend improvements • Monitor daily IAM operations, including IGA, Active Directory, and other IAM systems • Ensure compliance with IAM policies, Epic Security standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate security controls • Conduct assessments and audits, prepare audit documentation, and serve as an audit point of contact • Perform RBAC certification and data contamination management • Mitigate security vulnerabilities, audit gaps, and risks related to role structures, over-permissions, and shared access • Provide account provisioning, de-provisioning, periodic access reviews, emergency access, and privileged access management • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM-related issues • Support IAM tools and technology implementation • Align RBAC models with Epic security templates and coordinate downstream provisioning through SailPoint • Build and maintain Epic security templates, shared security classes, application-level role structures, SER records, and Blueprints • Maintain Epic access guidelines, naming conventions, version control, and change history • Maintain provider HL7 interface or API functionality and resolve issues • Facilitate a multidisciplinary Epic Security Workgroup • Lead Epic Security projects and initiatives • Support remote connections, including VPN and Citrix • Handle customer escalations and provide IAM/Epic incident and service-request support • Develop knowledge-base articles and provide knowledge-transfer sessions • Monitor Change Management and Service Desk tickets • Work with physicians, management, staff, auditors, investigators, consultants, and vendors
• 3 years of experience in application access control and information systems security administration in a multi-entity healthcare system • 3 years of experience with IT Epic support • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, or related field, or 4 years of relevant Information Technology experience may substitute for the degree • Epic Security Certification — REQUIRED • Epic Data Courier Badge — REQUIRED • Epic Provider Administration Badge required within 90 days of hire • Epic Security Post Live Badge required within 90 days of hire • Ability to work on-call • Ability to cross-cover shifts as needed • Knowledge of clinical and business operations in a healthcare environment • Knowledge of hospital and clinic culture, business practices, regulatory requirements such as TJC, and healthcare information security and privacy requirements such as HIPAA • Knowledge and understanding of RBAC • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management structures and processes, including provisioning, entitlement certification, access removal, and privileged access • Knowledge of IT security, compliance, and Identity Management • Ability to interpret functional requirements into application design • Strong leadership and communication skills • Preferred: Active Directory Management experience • Preferred: Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification • Preferred: CompTIA Security+ • Preferred: Epic Bridges Certification • Preferred: Epic Cogito Certification
