📋 Description

• Serve as SHI’s subject matter expert on Security Operations Center design and optimization • Design and deliver demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations for enterprise SOC solutions • Lead technical discovery sessions assessing clients’ security operations maturity • Translate SecOps concepts into business-relevant value propositions for technical and executive audiences • Design and present target-state SOC architectures covering ingestion, correlation, detection logic, response workflows, and broader security-stack integrations • Develop and maintain reference architectures, battle cards, competitive analyses, technical briefs, and vendor evaluation frameworks • Evaluate and qualify vendor technologies and recommend partner adoption, platform consolidation, and legacy solution retirement • Conduct enablement sessions for engineering and sales teams • Identify security operations opportunities and optimize service offerings to drive revenue growth • Collaborate with SHI partner teams on integrated security operations services • Build and maintain client and partner relationships through briefings, demonstrations, and knowledge transfer • Track SecOps technologies, frameworks, regulations, adversary TTPs, and the evolving threat landscape • Lead practice-development and innovation initiatives and maintain practice standards • Split time between presales client engagements and internal practice development

🎯 Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of experience in security operations, SOC architecture, or security engineering roles with hands-on SIEM/SOAR/EDR/XDR design and implementation • Demonstrated experience in presales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting within the cybersecurity domain • Willingness to travel occasionally up to 20% • Proficiency in overseeing and directing projects to completion • Ability to identify, document, and manage technical project needs and specifications • Ability to define, design, build, and maintain security operations architectures and SOC solutions • Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in Python, PowerShell, KQL, and SPL; listed as a plus • Ability to understand and manage infrastructure components including firewalls, load balancers, hypervisors, storage, monitoring, and security • Ability to develop opportunity engagement scoping documents • Deep understanding of SOC operational workflows, including triage, incident response, threat hunting, and continuous improvement • Preferred certifications are not required: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, SANS GIAC, CEH, SIEM platform certification, ITIL, Cloud Security Specialty Certification, or Certified SOC Analyst
