📋 Description

• Establish clinical understanding and demand among infectious disease physicians, pharmacists, and microbiology communities for target accounts • Promote products by navigating institutional formulary approval processes and educating customers on appropriate product use • Establish and expand institutional product access through engagement with pharmacy directors, ID pharmacists, ID physicians, microbiologists, and other key customers • Educate physicians and stakeholders through one-on-one meetings, presentations, professional education programs, and other appropriate means • Build professional relationships and communication networks across hospital medical staff, pharmacies, and opinion leaders • Create product education opportunities with local and regional thought leaders and professional societies • Meet and exceed call-plan and field-productivity expectations, with five full-time days in the field each week • Collaborate with Regional Account Management, Market Access Leadership, Medical Affairs, and Marketing on opportunities, KOL touchpoints, and formulary changes • Identify and communicate field issues, opportunities, and competitive activities • Achieve territory formulary adoption goals while adhering to ethical market access practices and regulations • Execute brand strategies and maintain consistent company marketing messages • Analyze territory insights to develop account plans, optimize routing, and maximize field resources • Report field activities and territory expenses accurately and submit required written reports by deadlines • Maintain positive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers • Conduct business in accordance with PDMA/Sample regulations, company policies, and procedures • Attend company-sponsored meetings as directed, including POAs, national meetings, and conventions • Maintain company equipment and promotional materials according to guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA degree required • Hospital-based pharmaceutical experience required • Hospital or health system experience with anti-infective, critical care, or intravenous products strongly preferred • Must complete relevant training and certify in assigned product knowledge • Strong understanding of hospital product purchasing, ordering, administration, formulary processes, and reimbursement policies • Ability to navigate hospital systems and access key decision makers • Experience building rapport and relationships in institutional settings • Demonstrated successful facilitation of educational programs • Ability to communicate clinical data regarding highly scientific products • Experience establishing hospital product formulary approval through P&T committees in the IV antibiotic or related category • Experience coordinating account-related events • Business-to-business experience and/or strong influencing skills • Documented record of performance and achievement • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and listening skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate internally • Proactive, self-starting, highly motivated, and problem-solving approach • Digital competence, including delivering presentations using iPad • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook • Must reside within the boundaries of the assigned geographic territory • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a complete background check • Must have valid licenses and credentialing required to conduct business in the assigned territory • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% of the year • Ability to drive or fly to meetings and conventions • Some overnight and/or weekend travel may be required
