📋 Description

• Architect, deploy and tune Elastic Stack solutions across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments • Execute legacy security platform migrations, including detection translation from SPL to ES|QL and analyst workflow modernization • Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using Elastic Agent, Fleet, Logstash and Beats • Harden deployments for federal compliance, including TLS, PIV/CAC, SSO/SAML, STIG and audit logging • Build outcome-driven dashboards and advanced Kibana visualizations • Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code tools • Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs directly to client stakeholders • Contribute to internal intellectual property, including reusable templates, automation and reference architectures • Support delivery of Elastic-based solutions across cloud, on-premises and hybrid infrastructures • Lead technical implementations and support migrations • Engage directly with client stakeholders • For Senior level, lead engagements from scoping through delivery and drive client relationships and expansion opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding of Elastic Stack capabilities and use cases across deployment, security and operations • Knowledge of distributed cluster architecture at scale, including multi-tenant and CCS environments • Strong problem-solving skills and self-starter mentality • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Linux CLI fundamentals and basic networking knowledge • Familiarity with, or drive to rapidly learn, the Elastic Stack • Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear, actionable tasks and processes • U.S. citizenship • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance • 2+ years of production Elastic Stack experience for Journeyman Level and Above • Hands-on experience with containerization and IaC tooling • Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider • Experience with federal security controls, including TLS, SSO/SAML, PIV/CAC and STIG • Client-facing communication skills • 6+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure with deep Elastic expertise for Senior level • Proven track record leading engagements from scoping through delivery for Senior level • Deep knowledge of distributed cluster architecture at scale, including multi-tenant and CCS environments for Senior level • Ability to drive client relationships and identify expansion opportunities for Senior level • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field (beneficial, not required) • Elastic certifications (beneficial) • Elastic Security experience, including SIEM, detection engineering, threat hunting and legacy migration (beneficial) • Detection translation experience, such as SPL to ES|QL (beneficial) • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash or PowerShell (beneficial) • Exposure to AI-augmented search, RAG or semantic search use cases (beneficial) • Prior professional services or consulting experience (beneficial)
