📋 Description

• Design and implement AI/ML architectures supporting FEMA’s cloud, analytics, and mission systems • Integrate AI services with FEMA’s enterprise architecture and data platforms • Architect AI/ML pipelines, MLOps processes, and cloud-based model deployment • Evaluate AI platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, and GCP Vertex • Lead responsible AI, model governance, and bias/risk mitigation practices • Support use case development, prototyping, and technical evaluation • Collaborate with Data Engineers, PMs, and Cloud Architects to integrate AI capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of work experience with similar responsibilities • Strong background in ML engineering and distributed systems • Proficiency with Python, ML frameworks, and cloud ML services • Understanding of federal data privacy and security requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, or related field • U.S. Citizenship • Active Public Trust, or the ability to obtain • Priority consideration for FEMA Public Trust Clearance or DHS Public Trust in the last three years • Master’s degree preferred • Analytics, Cloud AI/ML certifications preferred
