📋 Description

• Service AX/XP Imaging Equipment in the Palo Alto, CA area • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision • Deliver timely and effective repairs • Train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction • Manage financial performance within the territory, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management • Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts • Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers • Perform necessary administrative duties accurately • Test, repair, and maintain capital medical equipment

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred • Knowledge and experience servicing, performing preventative maintenance, and modifying medical imaging equipment at customer sites • Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment • Strong customer service and communication skills • Proficiency using tools and service test equipment • General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding • Proficiency in network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, and NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools • 3–5+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer/biomedical engineer servicing diagnostic instruments • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record • Ability to work individually and in an established team setting • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, walk, climb ladders/stepstools, bend, twist, squat, stand, perform high-reach and fine grasping manipulation, and work alone • Good vision • Excellent judgment in customer relations and company resource management • Competency in mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology • Experience with electronics, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems • Must meet applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include identification, background checks, drug screens, immunizations, TB testing, and healthcare training • Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
