📋 Description

• Service AX/XP imaging equipment in the Palo Alto, CA area • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites • Deliver timely and effective repairs • Train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction • Manage territory financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management • Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts • Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers • Perform administrative duties accurately • Work independently with minimal supervision and in established team settings

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred • 3–5+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments • Knowledge and experience servicing, performing preventative maintenance, and modifying medical imaging equipment at customer sites • Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment • Proficiency with tools and service test equipment • Proficiency in network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, and NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools • General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding • Experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and instrument systems technology including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software • Strong customer service and communication skills • Valid driver's license in the state of residence and ability to drive independently day and night • Good driving record; no prior or pending DUI/DWI convictions or other serious moving violations unless prohibited by law • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, and fine-grasping work • Good vision and ability to work alone • Must meet applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include identification verification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training • Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
