• Service Medical Imaging Equipment in the Kansas City, MO area • Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites • Serve as the customer-facing “Face of Siemens” • Support diagnostics modalities, with potential cross-training into other modalities • Work different shifts and on-call rotations as business needs dictate • Work overtime as required, with advanced notice for shift changes • Report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions • Perform service, preventative maintenance, and modifications with minimal supervision • Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers • Complete necessary administrative duties timely and accurately
• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred • 3-5+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision • Previous experience with desired Diagnostics Imaging Equipment • Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers • Ability to perform necessary administrative duties timely and accurately • Strong background working with electronics • Proficiency in service tools and service test equipment • Proficient PC skills, including MS Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) • Proficiency in necessary network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, and NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools • Ability to locate, read, and understand installation, setup, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional description documents • Ability to work individually and in an established team setting • Valid driver's license and ability to drive independently day and night • Good driving record • Must hold a valid driver's license in the state of residence • No prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations, unless prohibited by applicable state/local law • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and often over 50 lbs • Ability to perform walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, and fine grasping/manipulation • Good vision and ability to work alone • Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
