• Lead a national team to execute market access strategies and build relationships with key healthcare stakeholders in the clinical diagnostics market • Achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned field • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to close using Siemens’ customer relationship management tool • Build and maintain relationships with lab personnel, healthcare providers, and industry opinion leaders • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Scientific Support, Technical Applications, and Customer Service • Identify new prospects and position Siemens solutions to win accounts and drive market share • Manage the installed base of Siemens systems and increase revenue through penetration with newly launched assays • Coordinate technical presentations, financial proposals, customer references, site visits, competitive positioning, equipment demonstrations, contracting, negotiating, and implementation support • Develop newly installed customers into reference accounts • Develop and implement plans to exceed revenue and growth expectations, maximize customer profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty • Cultivate long-term relationships with key account decision makers • Maintain deep understanding of Siemens clinical products, services, market trends, and competitive landscapes • Execute demand generation campaigns for key market segments • Provide market and customer insights through internal and external data analysis and communicate trends to management • Travel within the assigned territory to meet customers, attend sales events, and participate in training • Manage analytical tools for funnel building, CRM, and market insights
• Minimum of BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or medical health sciences (medical technology, biology, clinical chemistry, etc.) • 5+ years of capital sales experience, preferably clinical diagnostics • Acquired technical knowledge with the capability to organize and prioritize departmental personnel and tasks • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Familiarity with CRM systems • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite • Knowledge of the assigned disease states, the lab and competitive testing methodologies is a benefit • Willing to travel within the assigned geography • Travel 75% of time • This role is based in the USA • Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
