📋 Description

• Assist in designing and implementing content and analytics tools within the EHR environment and data visualization tools • Analyze and define report requirements; document specifications; design, develop, test, implement, and maintain operational reports • Participate in new module or application implementations and upgrades • Act as liaison between departmental staff, Information Systems staff, facilities, and application vendors • Implement reporting content and analytics tools • Identify report consumer needs, prioritize and implement new reports and change requests • Design specifications for custom report requests and extracts • Build and deliver in-scope extracts using the Reporting Workbench extract framework • Follow and enforce the Cogito Analytics Catalog and associated metadata standards • Set up and modify in-scope SlicerDicer data models • Assist with training curriculum and train power reporting users; provide end-user training as needed • Test and validate reports after system patches, service utilities, and version upgrades • Maintain data integrity and security for assigned applications and systems • Develop communications for education efforts related to deployments, upgrades, optimizations, and reporting changes • Partner with quality, operational, and business leaders on report design and optimization • Work directly with report consumers using Reporting Workbench, Radar, Registries, Metric Framework, Pulse, Crystal Reports, and/or data visualization tools • Manage the Report Request Intake Process • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT or related field; or, 4 years of equivalent IT or business experience required • EPIC Cogito certification/accreditation required or completed within 90 days of hire if applicable; must remain current in certification • 3 years of analytics and SQL experience and experience developing in data visualization tools highly preferred • 2 years of experience in a hospital and/or clinic setting preferred • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
