📋 Description

• Serve as the primary on-site representative for all construction-related activities. • Collaborate with project engineers, designers, and stakeholders to develop construction plans and schedules. • Create detailed project timelines, outlining milestones, tasks, and resource allocation. • Monitor and adjust project schedules as needed to ensure timely project completion. • Supervise on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and company personnel. • Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide clear instructions to team members. • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and effective communication. • Ensure that all construction activities comply with safety regulations, codes, and company policies. • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. • Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols. • Monitor construction progress to ensure work is executed according to design specifications and industry standards. • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections through the contractor’s QC inspectors to identify and address any deviations from project requirements. • Report non-conformance and deficiencies through ProCore and elevating concerns as needed. • Coordinate the procurement and allocation of construction materials, equipment, and tools. • Optimize resource utilization to minimize project costs while maintaining quality and safety standards. • Provide weekly QA/QC updates to project stakeholders, including company management and clients, on project progress and any potential issues. • Document project activities, changes, and challenges in detailed reports. • Identify and address construction-related challenges and issues promptly to prevent delays and maintain project momentum. • Collaborate with relevant teams to develop solutions and implement corrective actions. • Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the allocated budget. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose changes to project plans when necessary.

🎯 Requirements

• Mandatory Field Presence: Ability and willingness to work 100% on-site at construction project locations across the Tennessee Valley region. • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry. • Current OSHA 30; First Aid/CPR; and USACE Construction Quality Control Management certifications; or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards. • Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders. • Proficiency in project management software and tools (Microsoft Office & Procore). Familiar with USACE RMS CM and EM-385-1-1 • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality work. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
