📋 Description

• Operate ROCC Magnetic Resonance operations at SimonMed Imaging centers for the assigned region • Perform general and advanced MRI imaging procedures • Support onsite positioning technologists as needed • Check orders for completeness and schedule exams as needed • Determine exam priority from available information • Operate MRI scanners and related console and peripheral hardware • Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols • Enter and monitor patient data • Produce images, film records, backups, and transfer studies to PACS and storage media • Maintain accurate study documentation • Assist with MR safety screening and implant-specific protocol manipulation • Serve as technical point of contact for ROCC positioners and onsite technologists • Conduct and complete QA/QC checklists • Monitor and correct assigned NTTs • Interact professionally with patients, staff, and care providers • Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements

🎯 Requirements

• MRI certification and registration • Valid ARRT or ARMRIT certification • Valid “Hands On” CPR • 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area • Competency in general and advanced level imaging procedures • Knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging procedures and technology • Ability to perform MR procedures with limited supervision • Ability to operate MRI equipment safely and follow protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements • Ability to perform MR safety screening and manipulate protocols for active/passive implants • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds • Ability to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities • Ability to work in a stressful environment • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty (preferred)
