📋 Description

• Provide high-quality instruction using a pre-designed curriculum • Mentor doctoral learners and participate in doctoral committees • Provide relevant feedback to support successful completion • Be available within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, by phone, email, and in the courseroom • Travel within the US for doctoral residencies • Use the online learning platform to enrich learning • Establish high standards and explain evaluation criteria • Adhere to University policies and procedures • Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and training as required • Participate in other activities based on university needs • Guide asynchronous courseroom discussions and provide assignment feedback • Grade and prepare for subsequent quarters

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience in the discipline: minimum two years required for undergraduate level and three years required for graduate level • Research, scholarship, or achievement in the discipline required for graduate-level • At doctoral level, experience conducting and overseeing research in the discipline required • Knowledge of qualitative research required • A master’s degree from an accredited Council on Social Work Education and regionally accredited program • Doctorate from an accredited institution in social work or a closely related area, including Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or Education • Must hold a Social Work graduate-level license • Must obtain, at minimum, Graduate Level Social Work licensure in Minnesota upon hire, including passing the ASWB exam with current graduate-level license • All degrees must be conferred from a regionally accredited institution • Experience with scholarly writing and APA 7th edition format • Knowledge of academic evaluation and academic technology • Proficiency in oral presentation, planning, and organizing course objectives • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong computer skills • Ability to manage potentially stressful situations professionally and ethically • Ability to accommodate unique student needs and expertise • Ability to support diverse learners and follow case management protocols for at-risk learners • Ability to travel occasionally within the United States • Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship unavailable • Reliable internet, computer, privacy, phone, and video-conferencing access at a remote location • Ability to meet critical-thinking and problem-solving requirements and communicate effectively with coworkers • Ability to access information using a computer
