📋 Description

• Design the capital stack for each data center, including construction and project debt, equity, joint ventures, and LP structures • Build financial models, investment narratives, and fundraising materials • Run fundraising processes with banks, private credit firms, infrastructure funds, and strategic investors • Negotiate financing terms and close transactions • Develop lender and investor relationships • Work with the business development team on lease structures with neocloud and AI customers • Oversee accounting and reporting across Simple Mining and the data center business with the Head of Finance • Prepare the business for institutional capital • Partner on the employee equity plan and valuation story as the data center business moves into its own parent company • Meet founders, visit sites, review financials, and create a financing plan and timeline during the first 90 days • Drive the first data center financing raise forward

🎯 Requirements

• Personally led and closed capital raises for capital-intensive infrastructure, such as data centers, power, utilities, energy, or digital infrastructure • Network of lenders, investors, and LPs • Likely experience as a Director or Managing Director in investment banking, an infrastructure investor, or a finance leader at a developer • Fluent in project finance, debt structuring, and investor materials • Bachelor's in finance, economics, or accounting required • MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus • Ability to explain a capital stack to anyone
